About Us

 

Fifty Seven Boutique is a ladies' clothing and gift store owned by mother and daughter duo Mary and Jenny Miller. The business began in 2003 when Mary opened her first shop in Portarlington. While Jenny had been involved in the business from a young age, she joined full-time in 2016. In 2017 they opened their first shop in Athy and their second shop in 2022. They opened their Durrow store in 2019 and in 2024 moved to a larger premisses across the road.

The name Fifty Seven was inspired by the success of the Laois Senior football team who won the Leinster Championship in the Summer of 2003 for the f irst time in Fifty-Seven years!! A very unique business name that is still a topic of conversation today!

 

 Athy Stores

Our first Athy store was opened in Janurary 2017 by Jenny Miller, Mary’s Daughter, who returned from her world travels with an idea to open Fifty Seven second store in the nearby town of Athy. Our Athy store recently received a revamp in Feb 2020. In 2022 we opened our second shop in Athy two doors now.

Durrow Store

The newest of our 3 stores, our Durrow store is located in the picturesque town of Durrow Co.Laois. Situated in the heart of this beautiful Laois town, our Durrow store is the perfect place to pick up the newest styles . Located alongside fabulous cafes, enchanting Castles, beautiful wooldland walks and charactmatic Irish pubs.....a stop off in Durrow and a visit to FiftySeven should be among one of your places to visit lists.
